This year's Suffolk Show was held at Trinity Park, Ipswich on 27th and 28th May. We showed Clemie, Lilywhite, Marigold, Violet and Clemie's calf, Clover.
We are delighted that Marigold won a first prize and Violet won a second prize, and our 7 year old daughter Emily proudly received her first rosette for entering the young handlers' competition with her calf, Clover.

Our new dairy unit is due for completion at the end of May 2009 and will be officially opened on Sunday 7th June 2009 as part of the nationwide event Open Farm Sunday.
Come and join us between 11am and 5pm for a tour of the farm and new cheesemaking facilities, meet the calves and enjoy a hog roast. For more information about Open Farm Sunday please visit www.farmsunday.org or contact us.

Our new farm shop is now open - we sell cheese, milk, cream, cheese and home reared beef and pork direct from the farm - come and meet the cows! Opening hours are:-

The Flying Picnic
Suffolk Farmhouse Cheeses made an appearance on the ITV Anglia programme which follows the progress of Annabel Croft as she tries to recreate Mrs Beeton's 1861 picnic for forty people - which she decided should consist of 35 different dishes. An important ingredient of this picnic is cheese and she turned to Suffolk Farmhouse Cheeses to provide it.
